Privacy Policy

Poi-Pura recognizes the importance of personal information and works to manage and protect it appropriately.

■ Information We Collect

  • Email address
  • Username
  • Optional profile information
  • Posted data, including study records, comments, sticky-note notebooks, room messages, and chat messages
  • Sticky-note room board data, including notes, memos, areas, arrows, images, layout, and sharing settings
  • AI-generated board elements that the user chooses to apply, together with the information needed to display and manage them
  • Access logs and cookie information

■ Purpose of Use

  • Account management and authentication
  • Providing and operating the service
  • Providing user features
  • Saving, sharing, and managing sticky-note rooms and AI-generated board elements selected by users
  • Improving the service
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Preventing unauthorized use

■ On-device AI Processing

  • On supported environments, AI Thinking Assist uses an on-device AI function provided and managed by the browser, such as Chrome's LanguageModel API.
  • Prompts, selected sticky notes, and provisional output processed by on-device AI are not automatically sent by Poi-Pura to Claude, OpenAI, or another external generative-AI API.
  • Poi-Pura does not save a prompt or provisional output on its servers solely because it was processed by on-device AI. Content is saved when the user applies it to the board or separately submits or posts it through the service.
  • The browser may download or prepare an AI model in its internal storage. The browser provider manages the model and its availability; it may not appear in the ordinary Downloads folder.

■ Board Storage and Room Visibility

AI-generated sticky notes, areas, arrows, and other elements applied to a board are stored on Poi-Pura's servers as room data. They can be viewed by users who are permitted to access that room according to its settings. Content that should not be shared must not be applied or posted.

■ Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:

  • When the user has given consent
  • When required by law
  • When necessary to protect life, body, or property

■ External Services

This service uses the following external services:

  • Stripe for payments
  • Google Analytics for access analysis

These services may use cookies and collect anonymous data. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to how Stripe handles personal information, and Poi-Pura is not responsible for Stripe's management of that information.

“Copy to AI” copies information selected by the user so that it can be pasted into an external AI service. Poi-Pura does not automatically transmit that information to the external AI service. Once the user pastes or sends it, the destination service's terms and privacy policy apply.

■ Data Retention

User data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service. After account deletion, data is deleted, although some information may be retained for legal compliance, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and payment record retention.

A sticky-note room that remains empty is normally scheduled for deletion after notice to its owner at approximately 89 days and after it has remained empty for 90 days and at least 24 hours have passed since notice. Re-entry before deletion resets this retention process. Deleting a room also deletes its associated board items and chat messages. Content that the user separately archived to a sticky-note notebook is retained as notebook data.

■ Security Management

We take appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, alteration, or loss of personal information.

■ Disclosure, Correction, and Deletion

We will respond to requests from the person concerned in accordance with applicable procedures. Please submit a request through the contact form.

■ Sensitive and Confidential Information

Do not enter passwords, authentication or payment information, sensitive personal information, confidential business information, unpublished research, peer-review materials, or pre-filing intellectual-property information into AI Thinking Assist, sticky-note rooms, or external AI services unless you have proper authority and have confirmed that doing so is appropriate.

This service does not guarantee specific results, accuracy, or absolute safety. We are not responsible for disputes between users or failures of external services.
